AN IMMERSIVE EXPEDITION THROUGH SPACE AND TIME

Go on an immersive expedition to discover the Khufu pyramid! Accompanied by your loved ones, you will free yourself from the classic visit to discover spaces previously closed to the public.
A slip into the territory of magic will take you back 4500 years to attend the funeral of King Khufu, offering you an emotional foray into the heart of Egyptian culture.

EGYPTOLOGY AND SCIENTIFIC EXPERTISE

The “Horizon of Khufu” Immersive Expedition has been designed to be as accurate as possible. The experiment is the result of several years of research and data collected on site, in partnership with Peter Der Manuelian, professor of Egyptology and his team at the Giza Project, Harvard University.
We aim to ensure that all information provided in the experience is based on architectural, scientific and historical data.

Horizon of Khufu is an extraordinary immersive experience that will surround you with the grand scale of the site of Giza. This virtual journey will take you to normally inaccessible places, both geographically and historically; enter chambers that are closed to tourists and travel thousands of years back in time.

I was glad to collaborate on this project with so many talented Emissive 3D artists and dedicated Egyptologists from around the world. We have studied every detail of this historical and architectural restoration, confirmed to the best of our current knowledge about the site and ancient Egyptian history.

By striving for Egyptological and archaeological accuracy, we hope to provide a unique opportunity for all to experience the Egypt of the Pharaohs in time and space.

Duration: About 45 minutes (+10 minutes for setup)
Meeting Time: Arrive at your reserved time
Accessibility: Wheelchair and hearing aid friendly
Languages: Japanese, English, French, Chinese, Spanish

Restrictions:
Not suitable for pregnant individuals, intoxicated persons, or those with certain health conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, heart issues).

Attire:
Avoid revealing clothing or footwear that may damage the floor (e.g., high heels).

Photos/Videos:
Allowed, but please be considerate of others.

Weekdays: ¥4,000 per person / ¥3,800 per person for groups of 4 or more
Weekends & Holidays: ¥5,000 per person / ¥4,500 per person for groups of 4 or more
Tickets can only be purchased with cash on-site.

It’s a place where you can enjoy new experiences together, whenever you like, and discover new stories one after another. Our goal is to establish XR entertainment as a new cultural phenomenon in Japan. The grand opening is set for winter 2024, with additional popular international content scheduled for 2025.
